Cookie Policy

Effective September 7, 2026 · BlinkLoop, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines

This page lists exactly what blinkloop-ph.com stores in your browser and which other companies see your requests. We keep it short because there is not much: no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and no tracking unless you say yes.

In one line. The public website stores your light or dark theme choice and your answer to the cookie notice. That is all, unless you are a BlinkLoop staff member signing in. Analytics, when we enable it, only runs after you accept it in the banner.

1. Cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar space in your browser that only the website that wrote it can read. Both stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

2. What this website stores

Always on (essential and functional)

NameTypePurposeLasts
bl-themelocal storageRemembers whether you chose light or dark mode.Until you clear it
bl-consentlocal storageRemembers that you saw the cookie notice, and your analytics choice when analytics is enabled, so we do not ask again.12 months

These do not identify you and are not shared with anyone.

Staff only (set after signing in with a BlinkLoop access code)

NameTypePurposeLasts
__Host-bl_sessioncookie (HttpOnly)Keeps a staff member signed in to the internal tools.Until the access code expires
bl_staffcookieTells the site to show the staff links and presence pill.Until the access code expires
bl-team-*, lb-access, bl-notify-local, bl-install-dismissedlocal storageTeam chat cache, drafts, remembered names, notification and install preferences.Until signed out or cleared

Visitors never receive these. They exist only on devices used by the BlinkLoop team.

Optional: analytics (only with your consent)

We may use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages help visitors and which do not. It is switched off until two things happen: we enable it on our side, and you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner. If both happen, Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> (they last up to 2 years) and receives your page views with a shortened IP address. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Until analytics is enabled, the notice you see on your first visit only tells you that the site stores nothing but the essentials; there is nothing to accept or refuse. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Essential only" and never ask about analytics.

Cookieless analytics

We may also use Plausible Analytics. It counts page views without cookies, without storing anything on your device, and without collecting personal data, so it runs without asking. If we enable it, this page will say so and the Privacy Policy will name Plausible as a processor.

3. Other companies that may see your requests

We do not embed videos, social feeds, advertising networks or chat widgets from other companies.

4. Managing cookies

5. Changes

If we add a tool that stores something new in your browser, we update this page and, where consent is needed, the banner asks you again.
